Trinity’s Story: Making Time for Herself and Finding a Second Home

A Busy Life, and Finally a Little Space

Trinity works as an engineering coordinator for Bell Canada, with a job that takes her both into the office and out in the field. She joined Outlaw in August 2024, at a point in life when family commitments—especially with the kids—had eased enough for her to finally carve out some time for herself.

She wasn’t coming from a place of feeling stuck or lost. In her words, she “finally had time” for herself. And physically and mentally, she says she already felt great. This wasn’t about fixing everything. It was about choosing something for her.

A Place That Didn’t Feel Intimidating

One of Trinity’s first impressions of Outlaw was how supportive everyone felt right away.

“It was not intimidating like a conventional gym.”

That matters more than people sometimes realize. Starting somewhere new can feel overwhelming, especially in fitness. But for Trinity, Outlaw felt different from the beginning.

She knew it was becoming an important part of her life when she started getting annoyed if other commitments got in the way of class time. That was the shift. It stopped being something she was trying to fit in and became something she genuinely didn’t want to miss.

Getting Stronger Than She Thought Possible

Since joining, one of Trinity’s proudest moments has been hitting weight targets she never thought she’d be able to do.

That kind of progress changes more than just numbers on a barbell. It changes how you see yourself. It gives you proof that you’re capable of more than you thought.

And often, that confidence doesn’t stay in the gym.

The Ripple Effect Outside the Gym

Trinity says her family has noticed a difference.

“My family says I am happier since I joined.”

That’s one of the biggest wins there is.

She’s also changed her diet and daily habits outside the gym to better support her health goals. Not because she had to, but because once she got going, it started to carry over into the rest of life.

That’s how real change often works. It starts with one decision, one hour, one class—and then gradually spills into everything else.

Home Away From Home

When asked what she would tell someone thinking about joining, Trinity kept it simple and honest:

“Joining Outlaw for me was the right choice. The owners and coaches are amazing and supportive. Feels like home away from home.”

For Trinity, this journey has been about more than fitness. It’s been about making space for herself, finding support, building strength, and becoming an even happier version of who she already was.
