Athletic Background
Outside the gym, Allison serves as a firefighter with the Town of Grimsby — a role that speaks directly to the physical and mental standards she holds herself to.

Coaching Philosophy
“My job as a coach is to inspire a love of fitness and help others reach their goals.”

Allison shares a belief held by several Outlaw coaches: you don’t need to get fit before joining a gym. “The gym is the tool to get you where you want to be.”

Her outlook on who’s rewarding to coach has shifted over time: “The most rewarding people to coach aren’t necessarily the fittest — they’re the ones who want to learn and better themselves.”

The hardest part of coaching, in her view? “When you can see someone not challenging themselves, but you know they’re capable.”

Background & Perspective
Allison’s background in biological sciences, lifeguarding, and the fire service gives her an unusually grounded understanding of how the body works and what it’s capable of under real conditions.

What keeps her training: “A desire to be better than I was yesterday.”

What fitness taught her that nothing else could: “Discipline and resilience.”
