Athletic Background
Justin competed in Australian Football at the national level in Canada and at an elite level in Australia — a sport that demands speed, endurance, and toughness in equal measure. He’s also completed a marathon, which he’ll tell you straight: “So tough — not sure if I’ll do it again, but it felt good to complete that distance.”
Coaching Philosophy
“My job as a coach is to motivate people to push themselves out of their comfort zones. We’re all capable of more than we think — sometimes it just takes an external voice to help get us there.”
Two beliefs shape how Justin coaches:
Small changes beat big overhauls. “You don’t have to make massive changes to improve. Small changes now will have a big impact later.”
Fitness is better together. “So many people find motivation in working out with others — health doesn’t have to be something you do alone.”
Background & Perspective
Justin grew up with fitness as a constant — shaped early by his dad, whose principles he still carries. Goals have shifted over the years, but the commitment to moving hasn’t.
“Progress is slow and steady. You just have to keep at it.”
What he loves most about Outlaw North: “The community feel of this place.”
