Athletic Background

Coaching Philosophy
“My job as a coach is to get you as healthy as possible.”
Coming from a nursing background, Laura thinks about health with a clinical seriousness that most coaches don’t have. Her biggest coaching conviction is one that’s easy to underestimate: consistency matters more than intensity.
“You might not always be able to give 100% in a workout, and that’s okay — it’s more important to show up and give what you can.”
Background & Perspective
Laura is a nurse specializing in solid organ transplant — a field where the stakes of health are as high as they get. That perspective follows her into the gym: fitness isn’t about peak performance moments, it’s about building a body and a life that lasts.
What keeps her training? “Staying healthy for my family and for myself.”
What she loves most about Outlaw North: the members and the friendships the gym has built.
